Austin Regier was a University of Washington National Rowing Champion and was on the sailing team for American Magic racing in the 2024 Americas cup. Aside from being a world class athlete, Austin was passionate about his faith, and in his own unique way lived his faith every day. In his personal journal he writes "We don't live by what we feel, we live by what we believe. Your life reveals what you believe." Austin made friends all over the world. Wherever he was he found a youth group, volunteered as a leader, and spoke into the lives of young people. While returning from the Americas Cup competition in Spain Austin took some time to visit the Philippines and passed in a free diving accident. How Austin lived his life challenges us to engage the world with passion, and love people wherever they are.
